Slovenia Explorer is a licensed incoming tour operator based in Ljubljana and the official Gray Line licensee for Slovenia. We have operated here since 2011. We handle the Slovenia leg for travel advisors, agencies and tour operators worldwide, from a single day to a fourteen-day private programme.
Ljubljana is one of the most efficient bases in Europe. Lake Bled is 45 minutes away, Postojna Cave 45 minutes, Piran 90 minutes, and Venice, Trieste, Zagreb, and Vienna are all reachable as day trips. If your client is travelling between Italy and Croatia, the days in between are ours to make good.
Working with us at a glance
12% commission
Paid on small group tours, private day tours, private multi-day tours, and special interest programmes. Admissions and third-party tickets are not commissionable, and we list those prices for you upfront.
Every enquiry answered within 24 hours
Day tours are quoted within 24 hours. For multi day programmes we confirm within 24 hours and tell you the date your itinerary will land, normally within three working days.
One payment link, whoever pays it
We send a secure payment link for the booking. Pay it yourself and invoice your client, or forward it and we charge the traveller directly. No credit card surcharge either way.
Commission paid monthly in EUR
Paid to your agency on the 15th of each month, for every tour completed the previous month. You invoice us, or we send you a commission statement, whichever you prefer.
No minimum spend
One day tour is a real booking. No sign-up fee, no annual targets, no volume threshold before we take you seriously.
We are the operator of record
Slovenia Explorer is named on all client documents, with our own terms and cancellation policy referenced. Your agency is not the tour operator in a dispute.
Two ways to work with us
Travel advisors
You send us the enquiry, we build and price the itinerary, and we quote you one gross price with your commission included. We send one payment link, which you can pay yourself or forward to your client, and your commission follows in the next monthly run.
Tour operators and DMCs
If you buy net and resell under your own brand, we work that way too. Net rates and volume terms are contracted individually. Contact us for a net rate card.

How a booking works
1. Send the enquiry. Dates, number of guests, interests, and the hotel if you have one. Use the form below, or email us directly.
2. We quote. Day tours within 24 hours. Multi-day programmes take a little longer, so we confirm straight away and tell you when the itinerary will reach you. Either way, you get the commission shown, the admissions priced separately, and a client-ready itinerary you can put into your proposal.
3. We confirm and charge. We send a secure payment link. Pay it yourself, or forward it to your client, whichever suits you.
For private multi-day itineraries, start with our planning questionnaire, and we come back with an itinerary and a price range.
Cancellation
Small group tours: free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure.
Private day tours: free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure.
Multi-day tours: sliding scale, full refund 60 days or more before arrival. Full payment is due 30 days before arrival.
