Our tour guide, Tea, picked our group of six up right on time at our Ljubljana hotel in a modern,
comfortable van. She was energetic, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about
sharing her country with us. For lunch, she recommended a charming small-village restaurant
with great food, which made the day feel even more authentic.

We worked with this tour company to set up a private day trip to Piran. From beginning to end everything was handled with great care, professionalism, and thoroughness. The clear and in depth communication in advance of the trip was great, as was the thoughtfulness of the tour operator, Sandra. On the day of the tour, our lovely tour guide Gordana, showed up right on time in a comfortable car, and ably navigated the way to piran, all the while filling us in on so much really interesting information around the region. She had thought about activities for us in Piran, but left lots of room to be flexible, she followed our pace, and was all around excellent - funny, kind, smart, and really engaging - and all around great tour guide. I highly recommend this company!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Slovenia Explorer, and we can’t recommend them highly enough! We did three tours covering some of Slovenia’s most iconic and beautiful destinations — Lake Bled, Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle, the UNESCO-listed Škocjan Caves, the charming coastal town of Piran, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Soča Valley and Triglav National Park.
From the start, Urška, who organised everything for us, was fantastic — responsive, thoughtful, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Our guides, Issy and Tomaž, were simply unbelievable. Their knowledge, energy, and warmth made every tour unique, engaging and fun.
The rides were super comfortable, and to our surprise, our kids didn’t complain once…a true bonus for any family trip! The food throughout was another highlight, delicious, local, and perfectly chosen to complement the day’s adventures.

I would recommend Slovenia explorer tours for a trip to lake bled. They arranged a private tour with guide which included lunch in a nearby town and visits to the island bled castle and gorge . Gregor was really helpful in planning everything via what’s app and was always available and responded very quickly

Great day tour to the coast of Slovenia with a visit to UNESCO site caverns on the way. . At our request a visit to a winery was added to the return trip. The visit to Lepa Vida winery was one of the best I have ever done, with a delightful food layout and wonderful presentation by the owner. Our guide went the extra mile to provide a nice experience.

Slovenia Explorer Tours provided us with a private guide for two days plus a meet and greet and return to the airport.They were excellent and our guide Tomaz was a "real gem" For our tour in Ljubljana he explained the city and its history and in particular the architecture of the city.He also paid special attention to the daily life of the markets.He made the city come to life and explained very well all our questions For our second day we visited Lake Bled the Island and the Castle and the this tour was equally well managed and explained by Tomaz who spent most of the day with us albeit that it was a half day tour.
We thoroughly recommend Slovenia Explorer give them 10 out of 10, they made us feel secure and confident in a new City. We intend to use them again to explore more of Slovenia at a later date.
