What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as what is in your basket or whether you have already answered the cookie banner. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others tell us how the site is used, or help us measure our advertising.
What is on when you arrive
Strictly necessary cookies are always set, because the site cannot work without them.
Analytics cookies are set from your first visit, so that our visitor numbers reflect everyone rather than only the people who answer the banner. You can switch them off in the cookie banner, in the settings panel, and we stop counting you from that moment.
Advertising cookies are not set unless you accept them.
You can also delete cookies already on your device through your browser settings.

Analytics
Set only if you accept them. They tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they arrived, so we can improve the site. We see totals and patterns, not individuals.

Advertising
Set only if you accept them. They let us measure whether an advertisement led to a booking, and to show our tours to people who have visited the site before.

Booking widget
Some of our tours are booked through Bokun, which sets its own cookies on the pages where its booking widget appears. Those cookies are described in Bokun's own cookie notice.
Cookies on other websites
Our site links to other websites, and pages such as TripAdvisor or our social profiles set their own cookies when you visit them. This policy covers only slovenia-explorer.com.
